ExcelsiusGPS® technology is designed to improve accuracy and optimize patient care by using robotics and navigation, much like a GPS in your car.

Medical images are taken and imported into ExclesiusGPS on the day of surgery. The surgeon uses these images to determine the size and placement of implants and creates a surgical plan based on your anatomy. This is used to guide the robotic arm to a specific region of your spine, similar to a planned route or pathway on a GPS. The surgeon uses this pathway for the greatest accuracy of placement using the instruments.

The surgeon performs the surgery with the guidance of this system, reviewing the continuous display on the screen. This display provides real time feedback during your procedure to help assure a more precise implant placement.
